1 Corinthians 13
Love
1~If I speak in the tongues
[a] of men and of angels,
but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a
clanging cymbal. 2~If I have the gift of prophecy and
can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I
have a faith that can move mountains, but have not
love, I am nothing. 3~If I give all I possess to the
poor and surrender my body to the flames,
[b] but
have not love, I gain nothing.
4~Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not proud. 5~It is not rude, it is
not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no
record of wrongs. 6~Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth. 7~It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8~Love never fails. But where there are prophecies,
they will cease; where there are tongues, they will
be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass
away. 9~For we know in part and we prophesy in
part, 10~but when perfection comes, the imperfect
disappears. 11~When I was a child, I talked like a
child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put childish ways behind
me. 12~Now we see but a poor reflection as in a
mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in
part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13~And now these three remain: faith, hope and
love. But the greatest of these is love.
Time and Love

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge,
and all of the others including Love.

One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all repaired their boats and left.
Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment. When the island was almost sinking, Love
decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for
you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel, "Vanity, please help me!" "I
can't help you Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat." Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked for help, "Sadness, let me go with you." "Oh....Love, I am so sad
that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her!

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and
overjoyed that he even forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went
his own way.

Love realizing how much he owed the elder and asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?" "It
was Time," Knowledge answered. "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?" Knowledge smiled
with deep wisdom and answered, "Because, only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."
When I think about designing something in stained glass my thoughts are always with my Savior.
That makes it very easy for me. His hand is helping me always. He speaks to me and guides me though
the whole process. I hope I have captured here all of his heart and love he has for us, and wants to
share with you too. Measures about 20" by 12"
Blessings to you and yours, now and always

•        There Is a Legend of the Dogwood Tree
At the time of Crucifixion the dogwood had been the size of the oak and other forest trees. So firm and strong was
the tree that it was chosen as the timber for the cross. To be used thus for such a cruel purpose greatly distressed
the tree, and Jesus nailed upon it, sensed this.
In His gentle pity for all sorrow and suffering Jesus said to the tree:

" Because of your regret and pity for My suffering, never again shall the dogwood tree grow large enough to be used
as a cross. Henceforth it shall be slender and bent and twisted and its blossoms shall be in the form of a cross--two
long and two short petals. And in the center of the outer edge of each petal there will be nail prints, brown with rust
and stained with red, and in the center of the flower will be a crown of thorns, and all who see it will remember."

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away ~

Imagination is everything, it is the prelude to life's upcoming events.

"What  you leave behind is not what  is engraved  in stone monuments, but  what is woven into the
hearts of others!" Make it a master piece~
