blessed are the children

Matthew Verse 10:40 "Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one
who sent me.
41 Whoever welcomes someone known to be a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever
welcomes someone known to be righteous will receive a righteous person's reward.
42 And if anyone gives even a
cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is known to be my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will
certainly be rewarded." Amen

When my first grandchild was born I was so happy and excited I had to do something to commemorate that day,
(I guess in fact I was like the Little Angel In this Story).
So I sat down and wrote some children's stories.  In a series called Grammy Tell Me a Story
The Following was the first one, and I would like to share it with you now.
I hope you like it and read it to your grandchildren, thank you my friend~

Grammy Tell Me A Story About Angels
Once upon a time, long ago, there was a little Angel that could not find his way home. This little, and the
smallest of all the Angels, found that he was totally lost! What was the reason for being lost? I can give
you the answer, he was playing hide and seek with the other Angels, that is why. He was having so much fun,
and all of sudden he did not know where his home was. He did not know where to go either. All the clouds
looked the same. What cloud was his home? He just didn't know! Look as he may, here and there, he was lost
and did not know where to go.

Now According to Angel time, counted by the Sun, Stars and Moon beams, (plus this little Angel had not
been an Angel for very long). After all, he never had to use a map before. You see he thought Angels
always knew how to find their way home. This was the first time he had been lost though. He could not even
ask another Angel, not even one Angel around when he needed them. What would he do? Being lost is not
much fun, is it?

So the littlest of all the Angels, floated down to the our town, to look around for directions home. When
the little Angel saw all the people he became very excited and started to ask, "excuse me, maybe someone
could tell me how to get back home please?" The little Angel beamed here, and there, hoping to get their
attention. Finally the little Angel saw a small girl and boy sitting with her Grammy. The little Angel
listened for a while to see what they were talking about. It seemed that Grammy was telling a story to the
little girl and boy about Angels. The Angel knew that he was in the right place now to ask for directions
home. He would be able to find his way home because Grammy and the girl and boy knew the way and would
tell him. Oh No! What's this! Grammy and the girl and boy could not see or hear him. The little Angel did
not know how to ask, or make them understand, or hear him! Try as he might no one could see or hear him.
Then he decided to fly around Grammy and the girl and boy. Maybe that would get their attention. "Why
are they so preoccupied with their story? Why couldn't they see or hear me?  What can I do", he said to
himself. By this time he felt so bad about being lost. No one could see or hear him. He had to do something
to make them understand. They were just sitting there with the book about Angels, and not paying any
attention to him!

The little Angel started to cry. His tears fell on the story they were reading. All of a sudden Grammy
looked up and said. "please be quiet for a minute, I think there is an Angel with us. You can not see or hear
him, but he is nearby." Grammy said. The little Angel cried and cried for a long time. Crying so hard all of
a sudden a rainbow appeared in the sky from all the tears. Grammy said, "see the rainbow? Whenever you
see a rainbow, that is the path the Angels take to go back home".  The little Angel heard Grammy, and
thought to himself, "maybe if I take the rainbow path I can find my way home?" he said. So the little
Angel flew up, and up real high, all the way to the rainbow . So high up, only Angels know the way. And the
little Angel followed it all the way home. Once there, he said, "someday I will go and thank Grammy and the
little girl and boy for showing me how to get home.

Grammy said "Remember whenever you say your prayers, the littlest of all the Angels can hear and see
you. He will watch over you, and protect you. You helped the little Angel find his way home. The Angels will
never forget that you helped them".

All the Angels were so joyful to see the little Angel back home, they decided to have a party,  so that is
what they did.

That night the stars seemed to shine brighter,  and the sky seemed to be clearer then ever before.
Then all of a sudden a star fell across the sky. "That must be our little Angel running home to go to sleep",
Grammy said. "Never to be lost again. Let's make a wish, and blow the wish up in the sky for the Littlest
Angel." amen~
So You See, the little Angel was never lost at all.
The other Angels wanted the little Angel to Meet Grammy and the little girl and boy. Good Night ~
~If you want when you say your prayers, say one for the littlest angel, he might be listening~
